Its really really AMAZING but..., December 30, 2009

So i got this as a xmas gift, and don't get me wrong , I LOVE IT it was a big step from my other samsung slide. I love the qwerty keyboard and as for the other comment you don't really have to press hard on the keys, you must have done something to it. Anyways The games are all demo's but usually thats what most phones do,also they have a big viriaty to chose from and usually most phones don't have as cool games as this one has. It has :
    WPT hold em 2 demo
    Midnight Pool 2 demo
    Block Breaker 2 Deluxe Demo
    5th Grader Demo
    The sims 2 demo.
Obviously you have to buy them if you wan't the real deal, how else would they make a living? It's all great!
But, there is always a catch. It has mp3 you just cannot make them your ringtones, BUT you can record something and set it as your ringtone, it may not be the best but hey! on my other phone I couldn't do either of them.
I guess you can see there are ALOT more ups then downs in my personal opinion. I think it is a wonderful cell phone.
*HINT* When you first get it let it die ANd then charge it, it will make your battery last alot longer.A friend told me , i did it , and it was no lie . (:

    Not a great phone, August 10, 2009

It looks great, and I was really excited to use the QWERTY keypad. But that's about the only upside to this phone. The slideout keypad works well but the numerical keypad is not good - the touch must be much heavier than my last Samsung, otherwise it missed numbers while dialling. Or, if I want to send a short text message, I end up missing letters, having to go back and redo.

As someone else mentioned, all the games are demos, which sucks. As far as ringtones, well, the built-in ones aren't very good (can you say they want you to download tones?). There's not even a regular 'ring' on it, and no, I don't want to have 'exotic dancers' as my ringtone, thanks. The extras are generally really uninspiring.

Don't think I'll be going with Samsung next time.

OK phone but no extra apps, June 17, 2009

Phone looks good, sliding out keypad is easy to use BUT you can't use any MP3's for ringtones OR install any games unless you buy them from your provider (Rogers). This SUCKS. Tried every conversion method avilable on the net, but NOTHING works for using MP3 files as ringtones. Default games are only DEMO and you need to buy after a minute or so.

    Solid phone, May 11, 2009

I've had this phone for about two weeks now, and to be honest, the phone itself is good, the screen is nice, the sound isn't top notch, but it's on its way. The text messaging is nice and comfortable, all the basics are intact, however, when it comes to the extras, it's terrible. The file explorer has no alphabetical or numerical order to it, it doesn't give you good low level control. All in all, a solid phone, but not top on my list.
